EN: The Data Protection Moot Court (DPMC), supported by noyb and the University of Vienna, is an international and interactive competition for law students. Bringing this format to the JusSuccess, in this interactive workshop participants are invited to get to closer look to the DPMC and actively take on the roles of the controller and the data subject, argue opposing legal positions before a Data Protection Authority, and engage in a lively discussion on current challenges in data protection law.
DE: Der Data Protection Moot Court (DPMC), unterstützt von noyb und der Universität Wien, ist ein internationaler und interaktiver Wettbewerb für Jurastudierende. In diesem interaktiven Workshop, der dieses Format bei JusSuccess aufgreift, erhalten die Teilnehmenden einen Einblick in den DPMC und übernehmen aktiv die Rollen des Verantwortlichen und der betroffenen Person, vertreten gegensätzliche Rechtspositionen vor einer Datenschutzbehörde und führen eine lebhafte Diskussion über aktuelle Herausforderungen im Datenschutzrecht zu beteiligen.
