GPOP Personality Test

Discover your potential!

The Golden Profiler of Personality (GPOP for short) is a scientifically validated, computer-based personality test.

Especially when looking for a job or choosing the right field of work and career, it’s particularly important to take a close look at your own personality. The GPOP is a validated, career-oriented assessment tool that helps you gain a deeper understanding of your personal profile and develop a more self-aware perspective. After all, understanding your own needs is at least as important in the job application process as evaluating the requirements for a specific position.

Please note: The GPOP personality test is conducted in German!

Appointment Requests

If you’re interested in a GPOP, send an email with the subject line “GPOP_First Name_Last Name” to beratung.careercenter(at)univie.ac.at with the following information:

Indicate whether 

  • you’re a student or graduate of the University of Vienna or
  • a college graduate registered with AMS Vienna.
  • If you are registered with the AMS, please include your registration letter with your email.
  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number

Please note: The GPOP is free for graduates registered with the AMS Vienna. Students and graduates pay 59 euros. You will receive further information via email.

    • Complete the analysis online from the comfort of your own home
    • A detailed 22-page report of your results
    • A confidential feedback session—in person, online, or by phone
    • A non-judgmental assessment of your strengths and resources, as well as your personal stressors
    • Suggestions for personal development
    • Be able to describe yourself better—for example, during a job interview

  • Students and graduates of the University of Vienna
  • AMS Vienna clients who have registered with the Career Center

The assessment process consists of an online questionnaire with 121 questions and a 60-minute feedback session, and provides you with insights into the following questions:

  • What do I bring to a company?
  • How do I communicate with others?
  • What role do I play in a team?
  • What motivates and demotivates me?
  • What kind of leadership style do I have?
  • Under what conditions do I learn best?
  • Where do I have room for growth?

  • Students and graduates of the University of Vienna: 59 euros
  • AMS Vienna clients: free with a Career Center add-on—you can find more information about the AMS add-on in our information sheet

Included in the price: completion of the online questionnaire (approx. 35 minutes), results report (22 pages), and a feedback session with a counselor (60 minutes).

The GPOP is not

  • intended to identify specific, suitable job profiles and positions,
  • but rather serves as a tool for identifying strengths and weaknesses. It is not a potential analysis, but rather describes personality traits exclusively without assigning any weight to them.
